Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer is latest celeb to enjoy dip in the Irish sea in Dublin

Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer is the latest celeb to enjoy a dip in the Irish sea this summer - spotted in Dublin this week.

The actress is filming the new Ridley Scott movie The Last Duel with Dublin’s newest resident and co-star Matt Damon.

And it seems the Hollywood star, who spent the majority of lockdown in the locality has shared the joys of taking a dip in Irish waters as the actress was spotted at his go-to Killiney Beach in Dublin this week.

Comer, best-known for her portrayal of Villanelle in the hugely popular TV series Killing Eve, posted a number of picturesque pictures to Instagram of her day off at the busy spot.

With a blue beach towel draped across her shoulders, the Liverpudlian actress, 27, simply said: “Thanks a mil Ireland. x” followed by a ‘freezing’ emoji alluding to how cold the water was despite the warm weather.

The beach day came after the star scooped Best Actress for the second year in a row at the virtual 2020 TV Choice Awards on September 7th.

She beat out fierce competition from Vera’s Brenda Blethyn, Normal People star Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Our Girl’s Michelle Keegan taking the gong for her work as ruthless assassin Villanelle.

The Last Duel, which also stars Ben Affleck and Adam Driver recently recommenced filming around Ireland following the coronavirus outbreak

After heading back home to the US earlier this summer, Damon was spotted back on Irish soil last month – with reports saying the Hollywood actor moved into a lavish home in Killiney near Bono with his wife and children.

The Last Duel is due for release in late 2021.
