Killing Eve fans bizarrely beg Jodie Comer to 'STRANGLE' them

Killing Eve star Jodie Comer shockingly revealed that one obsessed fan even asked her to strangle them after seeing her play an assassin on screen.

The Liverpudlian actress, 26, who portrays the evil Villanelle in the BBC drama alongside Sandra Oh, claimed that she is often mistaken for her murderous character while out-and-about.

However, speaking to Graham Norton on The Graham Norton Show, Jodie said that oddly some fans react with excitement when they see her, rather than fear.

"A lot of people just look at me in a 'Is it her' sort of way, but recently I had a really strange one – a woman asked for a photograph with me and then she whispered in my ear, ''Will you strangle me?'"

The TV star went on to reveal that she declined the request.

Jodie has also starred in several other hit shows, including Thirteen, My Mad Fat Diary and Doctor Foster.

During the interview, she also admitted that the second series of Killing Eve was particularly high pressure because of its incredible success so far.

"There is a lot more pressure because of expectations and everyone is waiting on tenterhooks for it to come out, but once you start filming, you just have to put that to one side," she said.
