Hamilton Accies defender Jamie Hamilton says he'll take his Boxing Day error on the chin, but wa bitterly disappointed as it led to a knock-out blow for Kilmarnock, who ran out 3-2 winners.
Dithering Hamilton was mugged by Brandon Haunstrup seconds after winning the ball from the Killie defender, and he then cut the ball back for Fraser Murray to score Killie's killer third.
That had James Fowler's side home seemingly home and dry, before Accies strikers Andy Ryan and David Moyo had penalties saved by Zach Hemming - who was then shown a straight red card for a foul on Ryan.
Josh Mullin then pulled a goal back for Accies with a terrific free kick and Ryan passed up a last-gasp chance to snatch a point, but Killie held out for a win that pushed them up to fourth in the Championship table.
The first half had ended 2-1 to Killie, with Ronan Hughes' opener cancelled out by a controversial Callum Hendry penalty, before Chris Stokes curled in an unstoppable shot.
Hamilton says he'll brush off his mistake, but was bitterly disappointed to be punished for it.
He said: "I thought we created chances, and I thought we were unlucky as well, that we couldn't take them.

"The one I messed up for, I'll take it on the chin and learn from it, but I felt as if we still could have won the game.
"I'm gutted for me, the team and everyone at the club, but I'll learn from it.
"I don't really let it bother me, I'm quite good with that stuff, and I've learned that from the past as well.
"I'm annoyed and gutted about the result, though.
"We were just unlucky we couldn't take the chances. We had chances to go and win the game but we were unlucky with the two penalties and Chucky's [Ryan's] chance as well.
"I would expect Chucky to score it, he was unlucky, and it wasn't the night for us.
"It's the game of football; you don't score, then they go and score, and it just happens."
Hamilton head to Gayfield in midweek for a showdown with Dick Campbell's Arbroath, who are sitting top of the league by three points, albeit with a game in hand over Inverness.

The defender says Accies are looking to redress a balance following a 4-0 humbling there earlier this season and wants three points.
He said: "We're looking forward to it, because the last time we went up there we lost 4-0 and that wasn't the result we were looking for.
"We're going back, and we want to show that we're ready for it and that we want to go and win the game."
