Killer mum posted sick TikTok tribute just weeks after death of tot

A mum addicted to social media posted a sick online video paying tribute to her dead daughter just weeks after she killed the tot.

The twisted clips, uploaded to the video-sharing website TikTok, appear to showcase Nicola Priest mourning her three-year-old daughter Kaylee-Jayde Priest, who was found dead in a property one year ago today on August 9, 2020.

In one horrendous video, posted only 39 days after little Kaylee was found, a tearful Priest is seen to mouth along to music with lyrics that apologise for "messing up bad".

Kaylee, from Solihull was described as "happy and beautiful", had been dead for several hours when Priest finally made a 999 call on the morning of August 9, 2020, reports Birmingham Live.

The toddler was found to have received injuries consistent with kicks or stamps in the weeks before she passed away.

Birmingham Crown Court heard Kaylee was the victim of a “sustained a ferocious assault” which left her with damage to her chest including a punctured lung and internal rupturing of the intestines after she interrupted Priest and thug boyfriend Callum Redfern having sex.

Following a harrowing trial that saw jurors reduced to tears, Priest and Redfern were both cleared of murder but convicted of manslaughter. Priest was also found guilty of child cruelty.

On August 6 Priest was jailed for 15 years while Redfern was sentenced to 14 years.

And it can now be revealed that killer mum Priest posted a series of stomach-churning "tributes" to her daughter just weeks after the three-year-old was hurt so bad she suffered brain injuries.

The first of the videos, posted on September 7 2020 is a slideshow movie of pictures of little Kaylee with the caption: "RIP my baby".

In the second, a tearful Priest, who was described as "uncaring" and selfie-obsessed in court, appears to mouth along with the words to a song titled "To my parents".

As she rubs her cheeks in the video posted on September 17 she sings along to the lyrics: "I'm sorry mum and dad, I know I messed up bad, should have done better."

A third video with a several photos of Kaylee - including the flowers left at Kingshurst House in the hours after she was killed - was posted by Priest.

The killer mum captioned the video: "I love you so much darling mommy will never forget you ever!!! Rip angel"

Other sickening videos show her dancing to TikTok songs and reviewing what appear to be make-up products.

One caption read: "dancing always helps me".

Giving evidence during the trial and blaming Redfern for Kaylee's death, Priest insisted that she was "still broken" while posting the videos of her dancing and smiling.

Sentencing the duo, Mr Justice Foxton QC said: "You Priest did nothing to seek medical help. A prompt call could have saved Kaylee's life.

"You both lied repeatedly during interviews.

"You Redfern chose not to give evidence. You Priest lied while giving evidence.

"From the severity of the injuries caused by the assault it is clear there was an intention to cause serious harm.

Turning to Priest, the judge added: "Lockdown made life more challenging. I accept that you were easily led particularly by Redfern who you were infatuated with.

"You and Redfern were equally responsible. You had ample opportunity to raise any concerns. Kaylee was very vulnerable and you were in a position of trust. You did nothing to summon help.

"I take into account the loss of your daughter has caused you genuine grief. You have shown some degree of remorse."
