'Greedy' carer who stole £7k and blew it on Mexico holiday given 'last chance' by judge

A thieving care worker who blew her stolen money on a luxury Mexico holiday walked free from court again.

The 37-year-old received a 16 month jail term suspended for 18 months with conditions including attending drug rehabilitation sessions.

Killer doorman who revelled in violence served just 16 years for butchering beloved son

A conviction for the savage murder of a 21-year-old man was not enough to stop Michael Brown from returning to serious organised crime.

Brown served just over 16 years for his part in a frenzied knife attack on Royal Liverpool Hospital joiner Colin McGinty, in what is believed to have been a case of mistaken identity.

The relatively short period in prison, for a murder conviction, could have given Brown a chance to restart his life, but the hardened criminal slipped back into old habits - albeit using the latest technology.

Hoy, now 42, used the handle "TimelyBeta" but his number was saved in the phones of his criminal associates under the nickname "Life", a reference to his life sentence.

The four bedroom detached home is found on Springfield Lane, Eccleston, which is described as a 'sought after area.'

Given the size of the property and the grounds that it sits on, the home is listed for offers over £825,000.

This is more expensive than the overall average price of houses sold in the Eccleston area over the last year, at an average of £231,225, according to Rightmove.
