The first day of the Killarney Festival gets underway today as the Kerry venue opens up for five days of action.
Seven races are on the card with a mixture of flat and jumps racing with the likes of top jockey Davy Russell riding.
The feature race is the Boylesports Handicap Chase, which is over 2m 1f with eight runners set to go post.
There will plenty of interest in the concluding BetVictor Novice Steeplechase too with Willie Mullins running Robin De Carlow and Gordon Elliott represented by Dinons.
Downpatrick also plays host to a jumps card with their first race starting at 3pm.
