Kill Bill 3: Quentin Tarantino says he and Uma Thurman have been 'talking' about possible sequel

Quentin Tarantino has acknowledged that a third Kill Bill film is still a possibility – as reflected by his recent conversations with Uma Thurman.

The director was asked about a potential sequel during an interview with the Happy Sad Confused podcast released on Monday.

“Me and Uma have been talking about it recently, frankly, to tell you the truth,” he said about a possible Kill Bill Volume 3.

I’m not sure I’m going to do it but I have thought about it a little further.”

He said he and Thurman “literally were talking about” a possible sequel the week prior, adding: “If any of my movies were going to spring from any of my movies, it would be the third Kill Bill.”

Talks of a possible Kill Bill Volume 3 have swirled for years without ever coming to fruition.

The original Kill Bill came out in 2003.

It was followed by Kill Bill Volume 2 in 2004.

Tarantino is just about to release his latest film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie.

It will be released on 26 July in the US and 14 August in the UK.
