An Irish woman has discovered a hidden garden in her backyard while renovating her house.
Catherine Kerr unveiled the newly found garden on her Instagram story and it took social media by storm.
The Kilkenny woman was in the middle of renovating her 155 year old townhouse when she discovered the secret garden.
Kerr began by trimming down the grass at the back of her house and gradually began finding ruins and small glass bottles.
As she continued to dig through the garden she soon discovered concrete slabs and a small stairway leading further into her garden.
The longer she dug through her garden, she found a small wall that was covered in overgrown grass and soil.
Kerr took to Instagram and film the entire discovery which led to bloggers encouraging their followers to stay tuned to her find.
People soon began commenting on her posts and helping Kerr find out the history behind the ruins.
Kerr is still discovering more of the garden and keeping it posted through her Instagram story.
