Kilkenny locals angry after litter louts dump rubbish outside cemetery

Local residents are up in arms after litter louts dumped piles of rubbish outside a graveyard in Kilkenny.

The disgusting mess was left outside Paulstown cemetery, an area where local people have been working hard to keep clean.

The shocking photos, which were shared on KCLR96FM's Facebook page, show plastic bags, dirty nappies and bottles strewn all over the ground.

One local said: "No respect, outside a graveyard of all places."

Another added: "It is a disgrace all this dumping around the county. I picked up six bags of rubbish with my sister on our road last week and last night some disgusting person dumped a bag full of dirty nappies and household rubbish in the middle of the road.

"I refuse to pick it up, I am so annoyed."

A third added: "I saw it today whilst visiting my grandad's grave.

"My 12-year-old pointed it out, and said 'OMG how disrespectful'. Bad that a teenager over an adult thinks it."
