Kilkenny All-star TJ Reid has popped the question to his girlfriend, former Miss Ireland contestant Niamh de Brun.
The couple took to social media to announce that they got engaged over the weekend at the Europe Hotel and Resort in Killarney, Co Kerry.
Taking to Instagram, TJ shared a gorgeous snap of the couple sharing glasses of champagne beside a bouquet of roses and a bed covered with rose petals at the five-star hotel, RSVP Live reports.
“Let the celebrations continue. Cheers to my wife to be @niamhdebrun", he wrote.
Niamh also shared the happy news on her Instagram page, writing:“I said yes”.
Many fans and friends of the couple took offered their congratulations and well wishes to the happy pair.

TJ is a three-time All-Ireland medallist with the Ballyhale Shamrocks senior team.
On St Patrick’s Day, Ballyhale were crowned All Ireland Senior Club Senior Champions for 2019.

UL graduate Niamh won Miss Kilkenny in 2017 and regularly blogs about health on her website.
Taking to Instagram to share another snap with the stunning engagement ring, Niamh said “Champagne for breakfast, Still in shock”.
