A lucky punter won over €5,000 becoming the second lotto winner in Co Kildare in the span of a week.
The anonymous player placed €1 yankee bet for four numbers in their local Boylesports hop, which consisted of 11 different combinations of the numbers with a total stake of €11.
They only needed to two of the four numbers to roll out to grab a profit but 2, 3, 5 and 32 all dropped and triggered a return on all 11 bets.
They walked out with a whopping €5,371 after smashing the odds of 3,800/1.
Just last weekend another lucky Kildare player walked off with €10,371 on the Lotto Plus 2 draw.
Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “We are beginning to wonder if there’s something in the water in Kildare because this is the second big winner we’ve had in the same area in just over a week.
