Kildare cafe hilariously show reality of outdoor dining in Ireland ahead of Level Three lockdown

This Irish cafe hilariously showed the reality of outdoor dining in Ireland as the country is set to move to Level Three.

The mini-lockdown will see cafes, bars and restaurants forced to shut their doors for indoor dining from midnight tonight.

Now, these premises can only welcome up to 15 guests outdoors, or offer a takeaway or delivery service.

However not all business owners are impressed with the new rules introduced by the Taoiseach last night.

PS Coffee Roasters cafe in Naas, Co Kildare poked fun at the restrictions, which could see customers forced to sit in the lashing rain to enjoy their coffee and cake.

They shared a video of the new "outdoor dining experience" on Facebook, and it provoked a big reaction, with hundreds of shares within the space of a few hours.

One local wrote: "Fair play to you. Fab publicity, well done."

While another added: "Awh guys this is so funny but so sad also."
