A Kildare musical duo created a unique advent calendar this Christmas releasing a new festive cover each day with a special reveal video for each song.
The young band called The Hideout have released a new video every day since December 1 and included a short reveal clip "to make it more interactive".
Bandmates Graham Halton, 22, and Sean, 21, from Naas and Carragh, brainstormed the idea ahead of the festive period.
Halton told IrishMirror.ie: "Basically, we wanted to do something festive for the winter.
"So, myself and Sean started brainstorming and had a brainwave; 'Why don't we release one song per day for the 24 days leading up to Christmas?'
"Then we just sat down and drew up a list of songs and that's how it came to reality."
Graham added: "To add a bit of humour we decided to make the short intros to make it that bit more interactive.
"My dad, Gerry, loved the idea so he started getting in on the intros too.
The young band mates have recreated the Lion King scene, Harry Potter, and even got Santa Claus to get involved in their reveals.
They have covered classic Christmas songs like 'O Holy Night' and 'Fairytale of New York' while also covering hits from Ed Sheeran and Dermot Kennedy.
The band have received a number of positive messages since uploading the quirky videos according to Halton.
He said: "The reactions have been very good. Got loads of messages saying they look forward to them every evening.
"Some parents came up to us saying they watch them with their kids who love them.
"So we couldn't have been happier with the reaction we've received."
