Kilcar manager John McNulty accuses the GAA of 'jumping the gun' by banning all club activity

Furious Kilcar manager John McNulty accused Croke Park of “jumping the gun” by banning all club activity in the country.

McNulty, whose club have already had two postponements of their Donegal SFC final clash with Naomh Conaill, wondered why the GAA had not waited on the government’s call.

“The GAA have totally jumped the gun and they should have waited for the government’s response before they jumped in like that,” he said.

“I am coming from a team that is in a county final, so obviously I want to play the county final.

“You get so close to it and then they were talking about Level Five.

“Now the government are telling us that the whole country is being put on the same level as Donegal and Dublin.

“But the GAA did not wait for the official government response.”
