Kilbarchan AAC star Jemma Reekie aptly shared the scottishathletics 4J Studios Performer of the Year title with her running mate Laura Muir.
The talented duo lived and trained together during lockdown, pushing each other onwards to some stunning and record-breaking performances this season.
And the determined pair were jointly handed the award on Saturday night along with fellow middle-distance runner Jake Wightman.
Andy Young, who coaches both Reekie and Muir, picked up the Performance Coach of the Year gong.
Stephen Maguire, scottishathletics director of performance and coaching, said: “In the end, after a lot of discussions, our awards selection panel felt they simply could not split the achievements of Laura, Jemma and Jake.
“It was felt a joint award was the most suitable and fitting outcome and I’m hoping not too many people will disagree.
“Jemma had a very fine indoor season even before excellent performances in the summer.
“Laura went sub four minutes for the 1500m on three occasions and has the World Lead,
“Jake’s Scottish Record for the 1500m took our men under three minutes 30 for the first time and went number two on a stellar British all-time list.
“They all had very strong claims indeed – and that’s why we couldn’t separate them in the photo finish!’
Reekie's superb season included her first two Diamond victories, in Rome and Stockholm, and two UK indoor records.
She has run five of the world’s top 14 times and led the world indoor rankings with 1:57.91, a superior time to the world outdoor best this year.
