Hearts are reportedly monitoring the progress of Raith Rovers youngster Kieron Bowie.
The 17-year old made his senior debut for the Kirkcaldy club at the tail end of the 2018/19 season while still at school.
His impressive performances with the first team persuaded Raith to tie him down on a new contract last summer, the deal trying him to his boyhood club until 2022.
Bowie has made 13 appearances in all competitions so far this season, scoring four times and providing three assists.
It is thought that Hearts will continue to watch the striker’s progress for the time being as he continues to develop under former Tynecastle boss John McGlynn.
Bowie scored one and set up another in Raith’s 3-1 Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer cup victory over Glenavon last weekend and has vowed to stay grounded despite attracting praise for hs displays.
I can admire the compliments I'm getting but I just need to keep my head down, and keep working hard," he said.
"It's good to get a goal but I'm disappointed not to get more.
"I should've had four or five, just in the first half.”
It's understood Bowie would be keen on a move while Raith would not be too difficult to deal with.
