Kieran Trippier has hailed former Alvaro Morata and Diego Costa for helping him to settle into life at Atletico Madrid.
The former Spurs star completed his switch to the Spanish giants after spending four years in north London where he established himself as a key player under Mauricio Pochettino.
But after searching for a new challenge, Trippier moved to La Liga where he's been welcomed by two of the most unlikely allies - former Chelsea stars Morata and Costa.
We all know that there's no love lost between Tottenham and the Blues, but the full-back says that the duo have been excellent as he settles into a new life and culture.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Trippier said: "Since I've walked through the door they've welcomed me with open arms, the coach as well.
"I'm absolutely delighted to be here and I'm looking forward to the experience and trying to get involved with the culture with the lads."
Asked about his welcome to Madrid, he added: "Especially those two have been brilliant with me, (Alvaro) Morata and (Diego) Costa.
"They've been explaining to me what it means to play for Atletico and what it means to the fans. I'm just taking it all in at the moment.
"I've been here 10 days now but I've come here to do well and give it my all."
