Kieran Trippier drops Jordan Henderson England recall hint for Czech Republic

Kieran Trippier has hinted England could make changes for their final Euro 2020 group game against Czech Republic on Tuesday.

A win would see Gareth Southgate's side leapfrog the Czechs and claim top spot, after their disappointing 0-0 draw with Scotland on Friday night.

Having started at left-back against Croatia, Trippier was an unused substitute against the Scots alongside Jordan Henderson and Harry Maguire as the Liverpool and Manchester United continue to feel their way back following injury.

And the Atletico Madrid full-back was full of praise for the duo when speaking about the possibility of Southgate again making changes to his side as England look secure their place in the knockout stages.

"That's the manager's decision but all the players have been working hard in training," he told reporters. "The lads that played have been on recovery and everyone will be ready. Whoever the manager picks, the players will be ready for Tuesday.

"Of course Harry is a big player for us, Hendo is a big player for us, but they've still got that leadership around the place when they've not been playing.

"We've got a quality team, we've got experienced players in the dressing room helping each other. We've got so much quality, it's just about adding the finishing touches in the final third.

"We're in a good position, four points, and we're now looking forward to Tuesday and getting the three points."
