Kieran Tierney spared as Arsenal flops scorched by former Spurs star in incredible radio blast

Former Tottenham star Jamie O'Hara has filleted Arsenal's ropey stars and claims Kieran Tierney is the only player that shouldn't be binned.

The Billericay Town boss came through the Gunners' academy at a time when Arsene Wenger's achievers were giving Manchester United a Premier League battle for ages.

Seething O'Hara reckons the current crop are a pale imitation to the side highlighted by the likes of Thierry Henry and Robert Pires.

The 33-year-old is adamant that the Scotland international, a £25m signing from Celtic last summer, is the only player who deserves a sustained run moving forward under Mikel Arteta after two consecutive defeats after lockdown.

O'Hara reckons the Spaniard has the battle of his career to turn things around at Arsenal as he held nothing back during his impassioned address.

Speaking to talkSPORT, O'Hara said: "I think they are an embarrassment.

"They are talked up a lot, they are this arrogant Arsenal as we used to say when I was at Spurs, the would think they were better than they were,

"Arsenal is a huge football club and they have had some fantastic players such as Emmanuel Petit, I used watch him growing up, I used to love him, Vieira, all these leaders.

"They have no leaders, there are no characters and a lot of people pretending to be top players when they are not.

"They are a top football club, a world class football club, they should be sitting there thinking 'hold on a minute, we've signed David Luiz for another 12 months? He's an accident waiting to happen'

"Where is the ambition? Mustafi, Holding and Sokratis as the centre halves, come on!

"You need a leader in the backline, you need a whole new back four. Tierney I like, they brought him in, he looks good, but the rest of them and the midfield are an absolute embarrassment."
