Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney has paid tribute to a departing member of staff at the club.
The Gunners ended their 2019/20 campaign in style on Saturday by coming back from behind to beat Chelsea 2-1 in the FA Cup final.
It means Europa League qualification for the Gunners but there are members of the staff at the club who will not take part in another European journey.
One of those people is physio Chris Morgan, who is leaving the Emirates to return to Liverpool.
Tierney has issued a message of thanks to Morgan with a picture of the duo after the team celebrated winning the FA Cup together this weekend.
"This man helped me from the first minute I walked in the door! Cannot thank u enough for everything you’ve done for me.. a special man. Grateful for everything. So sad to see u go gonna miss u so much legend. Thank you. Couldn’t have done this without u. Love @ChrisMorgan10 hero," Tierney tweeted.
Morgan joined Arsenal as a senior physio back in July 2018 after making the switch from Crystal Palace. He had previously spent more than a decade with Liverpool and will return to Anfield ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
Tierney himself arrived at Arsenal last summer and dealt with both hip and shoulder issues during the 2019/20 campaign.
However, the 23-year-old Scotsman started the FA Cup final at Wembley as he picked up his first silverware with the club.
