Kieran Tierney: Scotland boss declares star fit to face England at Wembley

Scotland boss Steve Clarke has confirmed Kieran Tierney is fit and available for tomorrow night's crunch Euro 2020 clash with England at Wembley.

The national side flew down to London this afternoon from their training base in Middlesbrough and the Tartan Army were encouraged to see pictures of the Muirhouse man boarding the bus to the airport.

And now Clarke has revealed the defender has managed to shake of a niggling calf problem to make the squad for the big one in Group D.

At this evening's press conference, Clarke said: "Everybody is fit and available, including Kieran.

"It's good news for Kieran, it's good news for us, it's good news for the supporters. Hopefully we can get a good result.

"He's trained fully the last two days so he is available for the whole game."

Asked if he knows his squad for tomorrow, Clarke simply said: "Yes."

On the clash, he added: "It's a game with a lot of historical significance. It's game that all the players want to play in.

"The actual nuts and bolts of getting the players up for the match is really easy because we know it's a big game.

"We know we need to get something from the game and that's what we aim to do."
