Kieran Tierney's Celtic love affair continues as emotional Arsenal star hails Hoops' 'touch of class'

Emotional Kieran Tierney thanked Celtic for a "touch of class" following Arsenal's FA Cup win.

The Gunners star played 90 minutes as his side came from behind to beat Chelsea and lift the trophy for a record-breaking 14th time.

A double from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang overturned Christian Pulisic's opener to ensure Tierney capped his first season in England with silverware.

The left-back moved to the Emirates in a £25million move from Parkhead last summer but spent much of the season on the sidelines with injury.

But football's extended shutdown allowed the 23-year-old to re-emerge stronger than ever during Project Restart.

He's now established himself as a firm Arsenal fans' favourite.

But Tierney was clearly touched by his former club's message on Saturday.

A post on Celtic 's official Twitter account read: "Congratulations @kierantierney1 from everyone at #CelticFC #FACupFinal"

And the Scotland international replied: "Thank u so much. Touch of class"
