Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney has made a fantastic gesture to send his match-worn shift from their FA Cup victory over Arsenal to a cancer patient.
The Gunners claimed an unlikely scalp to reach the final, with a brace from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ensuring their place in the Wembley showpiece where they'll face Manchester United or Chelsea.
It was a fantastic defensive display from Mikel Arteta's men, who were chalk and cheese compared to their last meeting at the Etihad Stadium just over a month ago.
Having made the night of so many Arsenal supporters on the field, Tierney became a hero of the pitch as well with a fantastic gesture.
After a selfie was posted from the Arsenal dressing room by their kit man showing Tierney showing his middle finger, he took to Twitter to apologise.
He received a fantastic reply from a Gunners supporter, who replied with a photo from his hospital bed.
He wrote: "Let’s just say It (middle finger) was meant for my cancer, mate!
"Brilliant game today, made my night at the hospital"
Tierney replied with a fantastic gesture: "That’s exactly what it stood for my man! U legend... get in touch I will send u my shirt from tonight. Keep fighting"
That gesture received a great response from fellow Arsenal supporters, who also directed their best wishes towards the supporter battling cancer.
