Left-back Kieran Tierney insists "hard work" has been the key to getting Arsenal's season back on track following their emphatic 4-0 win over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday evening.
Goals from Alexandre Lacazette (2), Bukayo Saka and Tierney sealed a comfortable win for Mikel Arteta's troops, who were in complete control of the contest from the first minute at a cold and wintry Hawthorns.
Tierney set the ball rolling with a stunning curling effort before Saka capped off a wonderful free-flowing team move to double the Gunners' advantage, ensuring they led 2-0 at half-time.
In the second half, two goals from Lacazette sealed the points once and for all for the north London outfit, extending their winning run to three matches.
Though Arsenal's recent upturn in from has been down to some impressive individual performances from the likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Saka, Tierney insists the Gunners' recent revival has been down to consistent hard work.
"It has all been down to consistent hard work," Tierney told BT Sport. "We have not changed anything in the last three games, we've been working hard every day, like we were in the dry spell as well, but it is eventually coming together now."
Although the Gunners appear to have turned a corner and got themselves back on track after a forgettable few weeks, Tierney is refusing to get too carried away with himself, insisting there is still a lot of hard work to be done.
The Scotland international continued: "It is progression. We are not going to win every game between now and the end of the season.
"It is going to be hard and only hard work will get us there. It is about building points, getting up the table and catching the team in front of you."
As well as Saturday evening's triumph being a night to remember for Arsenal collectively, it was also a night to saviour for Tierney, who scored a sublime goal and bagged an assist for Lacazette's second of the night.
What was all the more impressive about Tierney's strike was the fact that he cut inside onto his weaker right foot and curled the ball home to perfection.
Offering an insight into when he opted to pull the trigger himself, the former Celtic ace added: "The boys were calling for me to go for it! I need to watch it back. Obviously I am delighted for the goal, I don't score many.
"I need to go and see it again."
