Kieran Tierney receives 'special' Celtic praise as Scott Brown lauds Arsenal star for derby wizardry

Celtic skipper Scott Brown has praised teammate Kieran Tierney on social media after his display for Arsenal on derby day.

Left-back Tierney played a key role in the North London derby win over Tottenham as he burst down the wing to slide the ball to Martin Odegaard, cancelling out Erik Lamela's spectacular rabona opener.

Alexandre Lacazette scored from the penalty spot to win the game, but captain Brown singled out his former Hoops pal for praise.

The Parkhead captain posted to his Instagram story sharing the familiar sight for Celtic fans as Tierney rushed down the left flank and delivered a perfect cross.

Brown dubbed it his "special move" on social media.

The result moves Mikel Arteta's side into 10th spot in the Premier League, and they did it without star man Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.

The striker was dropped to the bench for disciplinary reasons.

Arsenal boss Arteta said before kick-off: "He was going to start the game but we had a disciplinary issue. We have drawn the line and we move on."
