Kieran Tierney is still stuck in limbo with Arsenal and Celtic locked in talks over his £25million transfer.
Reports in England claimed the Hoops left-back was finally set to have a medical at the Emirates on Monday before moving to
join the Gunners.
But as of tonight, no deal was in place with Tierney left waiting as the clubs tried to thrash out an agreement to take him to the Premier League.
Arsenal’s previous two offers were thrown out by the Celtic board who disliked the payment structure and potential add-ons.
Hoops boss Neil Lennon admitted this week that the 22-year-old has become unsettled by the constant speculation regarding his future.
And with Gunners boss Unai Emery keen to get his man, it looks likely the Scotland defender will be heading south.
Tierney is currently recovering from a double hernia op but Arsenal regard him as a priority signing for their club.
Despite being in advanced talks to sign Lille winger Nicolas Pepe for £72m, Emery is desperate to land the Celtic full-back.
