Kieran Tierney in fresh Arsenal blow as despondent star suffers suspected dislocated shoulder

Despondent Kieran Tierney suffered another injury setback as he was forced off with a suspected dislocated shoulder during Arsenal 's visit to West Ham.

The former Celtic star has endured a tough 12 months with a host of issues limiting his appearances for club and country.

It was reported on Monday morning that Tierney's recent absence under caretaker boss Freddie Ljungberg was down to a shoulder issue.

He was handed a start against the Hammers only to be taken off after less than 30 minutes.

It's unclear at this stage whether the shoulder injured during the game is the same one which has reportedly kept him sidelined.

Tierney looked gutted as he trudged off with his arm in a makeshift sling, accompanied by Arsenal's medical staff.

The Premier League clash at the London Stadium was the Scot's 11th of the season following his £25million summer move from Parkhead.

But he now looks set for another period on the sidelines.
