Kieran Tierney in Celtic tribute as he makes his Arsenal debut against Nottingham Forest

He may be making his Arsenal debut but Kieran Tierney clearly hasn't forgotten his roots.

The £25million full-back has told the Emirates crowd the club who will always be close to his heart - even though making the Gunners great again must be his priority.

Celtic fanatic Tierney finally made his debut for Unai Emery's side in the Carabao Cup third-round clash with Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.

He joined the Premier League club in a £25million move from the Scottish giants way back in August but has been sidelined with a groin injury.

However, he made his first tangible steps on the road to recovery when featuring for Arsenal 's U23s on Friday night - but has now made his senior debut.

And with a special nod to his boyhood favourites, Tierney has reminded everyone he will never leave Celtic in spirit.

Sporting a pair of boots with the words "Bhoys" emblazoned across them, the 22-year-old took to the park against Forest.

Big-money move or not, it appears the lad who used to take the Green Brigade's loudhailer off them has never really left Celtic Park.
