Kieran Tierney in Celtic t-shirt throwback as Arsenal star channels Scott Brown in Norway

They say Scots are tough and Kieran Tierney is certainly showing that once more at Arsenal.

While many top class footballers are covered in snoods, scarves, hats and gloves while they're training, Tierney was showing the skills he learned from his Celtic days with Scott Brown.

The Hoops skipper famously walked around St Petersburg with in -11 temperatures in just a t-shirt and Tierney has followed suit in not feeling the cold.

Arsenal are currently in Norway to take on Molde in the Europa League group stage and were training at the Aker Stadion before the game when Tierney was spotted in a t-shirt and shorts in training.

Some of his team-mates had tight leggings, big jackets, gloves, hats and jumpers on but Tierney was getting stuck in and must have been freezing cold.

The temperature was -5 degrees in Norway at the time but you wouldn't have known about it looking at the former Celtic left-back.

Speaking about wearing short sleeves and shorts, Tierney said: "The rest of them are all snooded-up, wearing hats and the rest of it.

“But the winter down here is nothing compared to the winter in Scotland. It's not even cold down here. You should see the weather in Scotland, then we'll talk.

“People always say, 'why aren't you training in a jumper?' but I never play in a jumper on a Saturday, so it makes sense to wear the same attire in training. I don't mean anything by it, it's just what I feel comfortable in.”
