Kieran Tierney given Arsenal thumbs up as Gunners clear the Scot, Lacazette and Bellerin for action

Arsenal favourite Kieran Tierney has returned to full training as the club’s injury list clears up ahead of a pivotal clash.

The news also provides a massive boost to Steve Clarke with the Scotland boss poised to announce his squad for a World Cup qualifying triple header.

Tierney limped off during the defeat to Chelsea at the weekend, sparking fears he was facing another lengthy spell on the sidelines.

But Arsenal have announced the problem was only cramps in his thigh muscles and could be available for selection ahead of the crucial EFL Cup clash with West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday.

The former Celtic star should also be fit for the games against Denmark, Moldova and Austria next month.

Arsenal have revealed other big stars such as Alexandre Lacazette, who had tested positive for Covid, Hector Bellerin (thigh), Gabriel Martinelli (cramp) and Martin Odegaard (clearance) are all in line to take to the field again.

Thomas Partey is also progressing well and should be available for selection at the end of this month having recovered from ankle ligament damage at the start of the month.
