Scotland coach John Carver has confirmed that Muirhouse's Kieran Tierney is set to be fit for the national team this week after an injury at Arsenal.
Gunners head coach Mikel Arteta named Tierney in his squad to face Watford in the Premier League on Sunday after an ankle problem.
The left-back from Muirhouse was racing to be fit for Scotland's crucial World Cup 2022 qualifier against Moldova this Friday, and Scotland boss Steve Clarke listed Tierney listed him as available for selection.
Carver has now confirmed ahead of the match, the Arsenal star is training well.
Scotland's match with Moldova could seal a World Cup play-off place for the tournament in Qatar next year, if victory is achieved.
Speaking of Tierney, Carver said: "He looked great this morning, full of running.
"He has been out some time now but he was on the bench at the weekend.
"He has come into the camp and trained exceptionally well. We don't see any problems with him."
