Kieran Tierney bags incredible Arsenal goal as former Celtic star tears West Brom to shreds with stunning solo effort

Arsenal star Kieran Tierney powered his way to an incredible solo goal against West Brom.

The Gunners left-back bagged a special solo effort to put Mikel Arteta's side 1-0 up in their Premier League clash against the Baggies on Saturday night.

The strike epitomised everything the former Celtic star has in his locker and added a right foot finish to match.

Tierney picked the ball up on the left hand side, knocking it around defender Darnell Furlong and marauding towards the edge of the box.

But instead of crossing, the 23-year-old stops dead.

He sizes up his opponent again and cuts inside to once again leave him for dead.

What came next looked to surprise even the Scotland international himself as he unleashed a powerful effort with his weaker foot.

The shot sailed past Baggies keeper Sam Johnstone and Tierney set off in jubilant celebration.

The goal provided the ideal platform for Arteta's improving Arsenal and Bukayo Saka doubled their advantage just five minutes later.
