Kieran Tierney Arsenal fall out rumour addressed as teammate insists there's 'no problems here'

Former Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka has moved to clear up unsubstantiated reports he and Kieran Tierney suffered a fallout in the wake of Sunday's fiery 0-0 draw with Leeds.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta was left raging as £72m flop Nicholas Pepe was sent off for headbutting wing-back Ezgjan Alioski.

But the Spaniard wasn't the only Arsenal figure who was incensed as Celtic hero Tierney had to be restrained at the full-time whistle as he also clashed with the Macedonian international.

Broadcaster Richard Keys branded the Scotland international an "idiot" and many fans were left surprised at how angry the popular left-back was.

The flashpoint led to plenty of speculation online with former Arsenal hardman Martin Keown also floating the idea that it was actually Xhaka who irked Tierney for "fraternising with the enemy".

But that theory was denied by the Swiss international as he posted a social media update of himself and the £25m defender to make clear they are on the same page after the Leeds game.

Xhaka said: "The left foot union, No problem here."

Arsenal are currently in Norway ahead of their Europa League clash with Molde as they look to out the finishing touches their bid to secure a place in the last 32 with two games to spare.
