Kieran Tierney and Billy Gilmour cross Arsenal and Chelsea derby divide with Scots moment of unity

Kieran Tierney and Billy Gilmour may be on opposite sides of the London divide but the Scots were all smiles on Wednesday night.

Arsenal continued their recent upturn in form as Emile Smith Rowe netted the only goal of the game to see off Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The defeat put Thomas Tuchel's sides hopes of a top four finish in jeopardy as the Premier League approaches its conclusion.

However, all of the on-pitch drama was put to one side after the game by the former Celtic and Rangers academy kids.

The duo were snapped after the final whistle catching up on the pitch and swapping shirts.

They were also joined by German trio Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Bernd Leno in the absence of a players lounge during the pandemic.

Both Tierney and Gilmour could reunite this summer if both are included in Steve Clarke 's Euro 2020 squad.

While the left-back has been a mainstay of the side, Gilmour is yet to receive his first cap.

Recently the 19-year-old has been given a run in the Chelsea side and with an injury to Kenny McLean could make a late bid for the 26-man squad.
