Kieran Sadlier has secured a two-year deal with Rotherham United.
The former Cork City and Sligo Rovers winger will look to impress in the Championship next season having done so a step down in League One with Doncaster Rovers over an 18-month spell.
The 25-year-old scored 11 times and had six assists last season.
“I’m really excited, this is something I’ve worked really hard to do - coming up from Ireland, to Doncaster, to League One and now I’m in the Championship,” Sadlier said.
“I’m very proud of that but the hard work doesn’t stop, I want to go all the way and make a real impact in the Championship with Rotherham United.
“They told me I suit the way they want to play and obviously playing in the Championship is something I aspire to do next and I back myself to do that. I think I can fit in really well here.
“We had a Zoom call and they put a whole presentation together which I was really impressed with.
"I think that was a big part of me coming to sign here, a lot of thought went into it and I fit perfectly to the way I play and what I can do.
“I’m a very forward-thinking player, I like to get shots off and I’m not scared to take a chance. I like to get in the box and score goals, I’d say I’m a goal-scoring winger who loves getting goals and assisting, that’s something I really want to do here.”
