Kieran McGeeney has been reappointed as Armagh senior football manager for a further two years.
McGeeney has already served five years in the job having previously come on board under his predecessor Paul Grimley for the 2014 season.
The high point of his reign was reaching the All-Ireland quarter-finals two years ago, albeit they lost heavily to Tyrone, and this year he finally enjoyed his first victory in the Ulster Championship since taking charge with an extra-time win over Down.
Armagh will start 2020 in Division Two having held their place there this year after promotion from Division Three in 2018.
Remarkably, having moved to managing Kildare straight from his lengthy playing career with Armagh before returning to his native county to work under Grimley and then succeed him, the latest extension means that he will have been involved at senior inter-county level in some capacity for 32 consecutive seasons come 2021.
