Kids TV favourite Paul Chuckle to join Dragons' Den star on trip around India

What happens when you send a Chuckle Brother around India with a Dragon?

We’re due to find out when the The Real Marigold Hotel airs.

Earlier this week, Paul Chuckle flew out to India with Dragons’ Den star Duncan Bannatyne and former cricket commentator Henry Blofeld to film a new series of the BBC show which sends stars of advancing years to sample a South Asian-style retirement.

A recent spin-off sent celebs to Mexico for a different take on the same theme. But the next series is back in India, setting for the film that inspired it, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.

As the contenders enjoyed a champagne send-off at Heathrow, it seemed unlikely that Duncan, 70, will sell off his businesses and actually retire.

He said last year he had no plans to as he didn’t want to end up “having a lot of money and not knowing what to do with it”.

To be fair, there are worse problems to endure.
