A woman has praised a group of children who helped her mum after she took a hard fall.
The older lady was walking through St Helens town centre at around 1pm on February 16 when she fell and banged her head, leaving her shaken up and with some injuries to her head and hands.
She was appreciative however, to the young people who rushed to her aid and helped her to her feet.

Her daughter quickly took to Facebook to thank her mum's heroes, posting in a popular community group People of St Helens that their 'parents should be proud.'
In the post, she said: "Just wanted to say a big thank you to the kids that helped my mum in town after she fell 1pm-ish 16/2/22. She was very appreciative. Parents should be proud.
"She has a huge bump on her head and couple cuts on her fingers. It really shook her up but she's doing okay."
Members of the group were quick to comment on the group, highlighting the good deed as evidence of the good in the community.
One comment said: "Nice to hear something about the good kids in St Helens. We'll done them and hope your Mum is OK."
While another added "Those kids also need a mention for helping the lady. Well done kids you know who you are."
The original poster also took to the comments to issue an update on her mum after the fall, adding that she is 'sore and bruised but doing okay'.
