Kids hack dad's laptop using leaflets of his FACE to trick facial recognition

It’s a feature designed to prevent people from accessing your devices, but it seems that one facial recognition system failed miserably at this job.

MEP Matt Carthy has revealed that his children managed to hack into his laptop , using leaflets of his face to bypass the facial recognition system.

He tweeted: “So, I was wondering why the battery on my laptop was running down every time I left it at home.

“Turns out the kids have been using my election leaflets to get through the facial recognition lock...

“I’m not sure whether to be proud by the wit or concerned by the sneakiness?”

Another added: “The absolute rascals, no need to worry about their problem-solving abilities!”

However, others were more concerned at the ease in which the children could bypass the system.

One noted: “Or you should be very worried about the poor security measures on your laptop which apparently anybody can now bypass with ease.”
