Kids go free on this sightseeing bus tour in Edinburgh during October break

Stuck for something to do with the kids this October break? Why not take them on a tour around their own city?

Edinburgh Bus Tours are letting youngsters travel for free with paying adults on board their CitySightseeing hop on-hop off tours around the capital.

The open-top double-decker bus has fourteen stops at sights and attractions around the city, including John Knox House, Holyrood Palace and Dynamic Earth.

The main stops to board the bus are at Waverley Bridge, Lothian Road and the Grassmarket.

The deal will run from the 14–22 October and there will even be a special Horrible Histories commentary for children, narrated by author Terry Deary.

If you like, you can also travel a bit further afield and try the operator's three bridges tour.
