The summer holidays have begun and now more than ever parents need fun (and preferably free activities) to keep the kids entertained.
This July Musselburgh Racecourse is hosting their summer family fun day on Tuesday 23 of July - and this day out won't break the bank.
There will be plenty for the youngsters to get excited about, with free face-painting and children's entertainment.
Every kid can also claim a free Luca's ice cream - Luca's are known for their delicious flavours, including a very Scottish Irn Bru sorbet.
Seven horse races will also be taking place throughout the day - you could even leave with some extra cash if you place a winning bet.
The event is free entry for all children aged 17 and under when accompanied by an adult. Early Bird advance adult ticket saves £5 (£17), otherwise adult tickets cost £22 on the day.
Gates will open at 12pm with the first race at 2pm and the last race 5pm.
There will also be a free courtesy shuttle bus from the racecourse from Wallyford and Newcraighall train stations.
