Nobody's got much spare cash to throw around in January, least of all parents.
But sometimes the endless cooking and pot washing all gets a bit too much and you just want someone else to feed you and your brood instead.
Thankfully there are places making it a bit cheaper this month, by letting kids eat for £1.

Hungry Horse pubs are among those and there are three across our area - the Flying Horse in Heald Green, the Hornet in Rochdale, and the Matchstick Man in Salford.
Every Tuesday to Friday between 3pm and 5pm, up to two children can eat for £1 each with every one full paying adult, with larger meals available for £1.50. Meals include the likes of burgers, chicken strips, lasagne and more.

Farmhouse Inns, which is part of the same group, is also offering a kids eat for £1 deal Monday to Saturday.
They can choose something from the menu or get a junior carvery, with two children able to get the offer for every paying adult between now and January 31. See the website to sign up for the offer.
If you're kids are fans of pizza or pasta then Bella Italia's popular kids for £1 offer is also running and it lets children, aged two to 11, get three courses and a drink.
It's valid from 4pm to 6pm Mondays to Thursdays until further notice. See the website for details.
