Kids cheer on their heroes at the Liverpool FC Champions League victory parade

Liverpool filled with Reds fans who came out to cheer on their heroes as they travelled through the city on a victory parade - and these young fans got their first taste of Champions League success.

Last night was Liverpool FC’s sixth win in the tournament, but their first since 2005, meaning the club’s youngest supporters wouldn’t have been born when that infamous victory in Istanbul took place.

And these kids certainly weren’t going to miss a minute of the celebrations after the Red’s 2-0 victory over Tottenham in Madrid.

Babies, toddlers and older children were spotted in the crowds, with many climbing on parents' shoulders and even bus stops to get a better view of the bus.

Memories that, for those old enough, will last a lifetime.
