Kidnapped girl rescued

Acting swiftly, the police of Sangareddy district headquarters have rescued a minor girl within 48 hours of being kidnapped .

According to police, Sakina Begum of Aliyabad village in Kondapur mandal was separated from her husband and living with her two children -- three-year-old Fatima and one-year-old Tamanna. She is making a living by begging at Deendar Khan Masjid. On the night of April 4 at about 11.30 p.m. Ms Sakina made her children sit at road side and went to attend nature’s call. Two unidentified persons kidnapped her younger child Tamanna before she returned and lodged a complaint with the police. Using the technology police arrested Sayyad Gulab and his wife Gousia Begum along with the kidnapped girl on Thursday and handed over the girl to the mother.

DSP A. Balaji said that both the wife and husband are into begging and they thought of getting more money by exhibiting the girl along with them during begging. The accused were presented before the court.
