Kidderminster vs West Ham United FA Cup fourth round clash rescheduled after TV picks confirmed

West Ham United’s FA Cup fourth round showdown with Kidderminster Harriers is now set to take place a few hours earlier after the latest TV selections were confirmed.

The Hammers travel to the Aggborough Stadium on Saturday, February 5 but instead of the original 3pm kick-off time, the game will now get underway at the slightly earlier time at 12:30pm.

The game itself will be broadcast live on BBC One as David Moyes’ men aim to avoid a significant upset.

Currently plying their trade in the National League North, the Harriers progressed past Championship side Reading in the previous round, coming from behind to win.

Victory teed-up a clash with West Ham United, who themselves booked their place in the fourth round with a 2-0 victory over fellow Premier League side Leeds United at the London Stadium.

Kidderminster manager Russell Penn has already signalled his excitement ahead of the clash.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live following the win against Reading and the subsequent fourth round draw, he said: “I think my phone will go into meltdown. I was so proud, first and foremost for the players, club, chairman and fans. Everyone deserves it.

“The chairman is buzzing. Did we expect to win? No, we thought we had a chance but we are shellshocked. We deserved the victory and the chairman was like the Grinch at Christmas – his smile went from ear to ear.

“I will be going up against one of the most respected British managers in David Moyes, which is fantastic for me. I know he respects the competition, the lower leagues and West Ham are on the up. What a tie.

“Hopefully we can write some more history.”
