Kid-friendly tablets are launched in two new Disney themes in time for Christmas

It seems even toddlers are all about tech these days.

And while it may be the easy option to allow them a little bit of time on a tablet, it's certainly a great way to get a time out for parent and child alike.

So what better than a tablet designed specifically for younger children, with safe and secure access to digital content.

The Pebble Gear kids tablets are aimed at three to eight year-olds, and offer a great way for children to enjoy using a tablet without the worries of more sophisticated devices.

The £99 tablets have been available in two Disney themes - Frozen II and Toy Story 4 - but two more themes are set to be added before Christmas.

Mickey and Friends and Disney's Cars will be available as themes for the tablet cover but also the content installed on the device.

The 7-inch Android tablets do not allow in-app purchases or unwanted pop-ups, have full parental control, access to more than 500 games, ebooks and learning apps, and all content is free for the first 12 months.

Indeed the tablets - which are available from retailers such as Currys and Amazon - have received glowing reviews from the media and parents for their ease of use and safety features.

There's also a range of themed carry cases and screen protectors for extra protection to match the characters of the chosen tablet.

Neil Meredith, Director Of Digital Goals Ltd, Pebble Gear’s parent company said: “We have been delighted with the reaction from parents and their little ones to our initial Frozen and Toy Story versions.

"The chatter created on our community channels has been so positive and we are really excited to now add classics like Mickey and Friends, and Cars to the range.

"Its really clear that with everything that’s going on right now our young kids need safe digital environments to learn, relax and have fun and we feel we our tablets are giving families that balance between fun and safety.”
