Kickoff time moved up for MSU Football vs. Penn State on Saturday

So much for the Spartans getting a later kickoff time this upcoming Saturday.

Michigan State announced on Thursday afternoon that their game against Penn State this weekend will now kickoff at 12 p.m. ET instead of the previously announced 3:30 p.m. ET game time. The Spartans-Nittany Lions match-up will still be televised on ABC.

According to Stephen Brooks of 247Sports, the game time was moved up after Oklahoma vs. West Virginia was cancelled on Thursday morning.

MSU is currently a more than two-touchdown underdog against Penn State, but maybe the Spartans will get some positive vibes from their new Gruff Sparty helmet they’ll be wearing on Saturday. MSU also announced the new look on Thursday, and you can see that awesome new helmet by clicking here.
