The Kardashians aired the fallout from Tristan Thompson’s paternity suit coming to light in the final episode of the Hulu show, as Kim Kardashian broke the news to sister Khloe Kardashian.
While Khloe has said throughout the inaugural season of the Hulu show that she was in a great place with the NBA player, at the beginning of the finale episode she learned that he cheated on her once again.
Khloe twice reconciled with the 31-year-old basketball player after past cheating scandals, but the family learnt of the paternity lawsuit filed by Maralee Nichols in the latest instalment of the Disney+ show.
Kim called Khloe in the early hours to share details of the leaked suit documents with her, saying on the phone: “He's been lying to you. Did you know about this?”
Khloe said she did not as she read the paternity lawsuit, in which Tristan admitted to sleeping with a woman, later revealed to be Houston-based personal trainer Nichols, on his 30th birthday.
Khloe said: “Oh my God, this cannot be happening,” before Kim replied: “She sued him and his attorneys went on record with a full declaration from him. He probably never thought it would be leaked.”
Kim continued: “If this isn't the biggest sign for you to not have another baby with this human being.”
Khloe said: “I just would like the truth,” before she was heard breaking down in sobs over the phone.
Comforting her, Kim said: “Everything's going to be okay no matter what. We really believed he had changed. I was his biggest supporter,” before she signalled for the Hulu camera crew to leave the room during the emotional chat.
In later scenes, Khloe told the Hulu cameras: “I find out what Tristan is doing with the rest of the world.
“A courtesy would be not doing it, but if you do it you're not even going to give me a heads up before the rest of the world? It's just an additional slap in my face. It's humiliating. I'm embarrassed.”
She continued: “I'm replaying every event, every grand gesture, every trip, every date. All of that was a lie.
“How were you able to not say something? I feel just not really in my own body. But when things happen to you a couple of times, you do become immune to them, which is really sad.”
In later scenes, Khloe was seen in her new home packing boxes of Tristan’s clothes, as she said: “This house was supposed to be mine and Tristan and Ture's home and we were supposed to have our family in. It's really disappointing and it's heartbreaking.”
After taping the boxes closed, Khloe’s head collapsed into her arms in front of the cameras in devastating scenes.
She concluded to the cameras: “I wanted to believe that Tristan could change, I wanted to trust him and believe that True and I were worth changing for. But that's just life. Things don't always go the way that we hope and plan.”
Nichols had claimed that their child, who was born in December 2021, was conceived on Tristan's 30th birthday on March 13.
A paternity test confirmed he was the father, his third child along with three-year-old daughter True with Khloe and five-year-old son Prince with ex Jordan Craig.
