Khloe Kardashian slammed for saying she 'can't stand' people complaining about being fat

Khloe Kardashian is facing criticism for past 'fatphobic' comments that have resurfaced online.

Clips of the reality TV star's 2019 chat with British media personality Jay Shetty two years ago have been going viral on TikTok and Twitter in recents weeks - with many condemning the mum-of-one for her controversial opinions.

'I can't stand people that are like eating a bucket of Häagen-Dazs ice cream, [saying] "I'm so fat!" Khloe exclaims.

"And like, they won't work out, they won't change their diet, they won't drink more water, they won't whatever, but they're complaining, complaining, complaining," she continued.

The fitness-loving star was discussing her frustration over people who may desire to lose weight or alter their appearance but still indulge in the calorie-laden food.

"I'm like well, you're always going to be in this victimised state because you're literally not doing any, you're not being self-aware," Khloe told the 33-year-old podcast host during their chat.

"You're not even looking at your own reflection, saying, "Okay, what can I do to change things about myself?" It's everybody else's fault," she concluded.

Over recent years, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has drastically altered her appearance - slimming down and becoming a huge fan of working out and sticking to a gruelling gym routine.

With millions in the bank, Khloe has been able to employ the help of dieticians and personal trainers in her quest to lose a few pounds.

In the past, the star has worked with Beverly Hills-based personal trainer Gunnar Peterson who charges $99.00 for a four-week online at home gym programme.

One-on-one programs in person will likely be priced significantly higher than the generic online programmes offered on the trainer's website.

Following the interview clip going viral, many fans took to social media to express their disappointment in Khloe for her 'insensitive' comments.

Some took issues with the multi-millionaire not acknowledging her privilege when discussing health and fitness, while others questioned how she obtained her jaw-dropping figure.

"Someone tell Khloe Kardashian that most people don’t have access to a personal chef, personal trainer, a private gym, a nutritionist, and can’t afford to get plastic surgery every 3 months," one angry Twitter user stated online.

"Don’t tell people to put in the work when you have people doing all the work for you."

"Honey, you are made in China, you are manufactured. You got more plastic in you than the ocean does currently, no ma'am," one TikTok critic wrote, comparing the star to a Barbie doll.

"Big “just don’t be poor” vibes," one Twitter user began their feedback of the viral clip.

"Like yes. Do healthy things. But also… most people can’t afford a personal trainer and cosmetic procedures and a nutritionist so stop trying to make it sound that easy."

Khloe has always vehemently denied ever having plastic surgery on her body.

In 2018, the media personality said her slimmer nose was the result of contouring because she's "scared" of surgery, but also said she'd be open to getting a rhinoplasty, "because I think about it every day."

"I hope that whenever I need/want a facial surgery I can just take a pill or something lol this s*** scares me," she tweeted to her 29.4 million followers.

However, during the reunion episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians earlier this year, the 37-year-old admitted that she had undergone a nose job - but didn't reveal just when she had it done.

The star also admitted to having other tweakments and treatments over the years.

“I've done, sure, injections. Not really Botox. I've responded horribly to Botox,” she told host Andy Cohen back in June.
