Khloe Kardashian finally breaks silence on rumour Anna Wintour banned her from Met Gala

Khloe Kardashian has hit back after rumours emerged that she was banned from the 2021 Met Gala in New York City.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 37, was reportedly dissed by event organisers because they see her as a ‘C-list’ celebrity in comparison to her sister Kim, 40, and her half-sister Kendall – who stormed the red carpet this year as she paid homage to Hollywood icon, Audrey Hepburn.

Sources have claimed that Vogue's Editor in Chief Anna Wintour thinks the star is not famous enough to attend the prestigious ceremony.

And as rumours continue to swirl about Khloe, the reality TV star has finally decided to address the drama.

Khloe took to Twitter to set the record straight after a curious fan begged her to ‘clarify’ if the speculation had any truth to it.

In response to her fans, Khloe insisted the rumours were “absolutely NOT true”.

Khloe has yet to confirm why she didn’t attend the Met Gala – leading more fans to believe she was never invited in the first place.

Meanwhile, others speculated that the reality TV icon is hiding her ‘secret second pregnancy’ and failed to attend the Met Gala as it would have given it away.

“I honestly think Khloe is expecting her second baby and that’s why she didn’t go,” one convinced fan shared on Twitter.

While another agreed: “I have a feeling she’s pregnant again.”

Khloe and her older sister Kourtney, 42, are the only two females in their clan to never attend the Met Gala.

Although their invites appear to have gotten lost in the post, they have continued to support their sisters Kim, Kendall, and Kylie, who have all stormed the red carpet for a number of years in a row.

The family’s momager, Kris Jenner, has also been a regular at the event in recent years.

It comes as Khloe and her sisters Kim and Kourtney have started filming their brand-new reality TV show after calling it quits on Keeping Up With The Kardashians after 20 seasons.

The trio are all back in the spotlight as work on their hotly anticipated Hulu show has finally begun.

Earlier this week, photos emerged of the sisters stomping around Los Angeles in their finest clothes while an army of cameras and crew trotted after them.

Last December, Hulu revealed they had signed the Kardashians into a big money deal to make new shows for the streaming service – which exists as Star via Disney in other parts of the world.

Announcing the news, the network declared online: “The Kardashian Jenners will create new global content under a multi-year deal, to stream exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. and in multiple territories on Star internationally.”
